Yawanawa Kanaro – Sacred Snuff Rapéh follows the traditional Yawanawa preparation using tsunu ashes and natural tobacco. Kanaro, the Blue Macaw, is a sacred symbol within Yawanawa cosmology, regarded as a messenger between worlds and celebrated in their saíte (storytelling songs).
This rapéh is prepared by Shaneihu, grandson of the renowned pajé Yawa and son of chief Biraci. Shaneihu completed the demanding one-year Muka initiation diet under the guidance of his grandfather—an initiation that carries deep spiritual credibility within the tradition. Beyond his ceremonial lineage, he is also an accomplished musician and the creator of the album Kanaro.
The experience is clarifying and grounding, supporting mental focus while gently cleansing the energetic field and stabilizing emotions long after the initial sensation.
